How do I register for Wraparound Care?

Our Wraparound Care is extremely popular, and many Breakfast Club and After School Club sessions are at or close to capacity.

If you're looking for a regular term-time place, please enquire by emailing [email protected] with your childcare requirements.

Our team will review the sessions you require, advise on current availability and help you arrange a regular place where suitable sessions are available.

How do Ad Hoc Wraparound Bookings work?

Our Ad Hoc booking option is designed for families who need occasional or flexible childcare without committing to the same sessions every week.

  • Bookings open on a rolling 7-day basis – each session becomes available to book seven days before it takes place.
  • Book online at any time – once a session enters the 7-day booking window, you can book directly through your parent account, subject to availability.
  • No regular commitment – simply book the individual sessions you need.
  • Spaces are first come, first served – your place is secured once your booking has been completed.
  • Bookings are final once confirmed – Ad Hoc and single-session bookings cannot be cancelled, transferred, refunded or credited if your plans change or your child does not attend.

If you know you require the same childcare each week, a regular booking is the best way to secure your sessions in advance.

The 7-day Ad Hoc booking window allows us to offer families additional flexibility while still planning staffing, food and resources effectively and maintaining a sustainable Wraparound Care provision.

Can I book Holiday Club online?

Yes. Our Holiday Clubs can be booked online through your parent account.

Whether you need a single day or a full week, you can choose the sessions you require and book online, subject to availability.

Who can attend?

Our Wraparound Care is available exclusively for children attending Coten End Primary School.

Our Holiday Clubs are open to both Coten End pupils and children from other local schools, so everyone is welcome to join us during the school holidays.

What sessions do you offer?

We provide flexible childcare before and after the school day, as well as throughout the school holidays.

  • Breakfast Club – 7:45am to 9:00am
  • After School Club – flexible collection until 6:00pm
  • Holiday Club – flexible childcare throughout the school holidays

What activities do children enjoy?

No two days are the same at Coten End Kids Club.

Children enjoy a wide variety of activities including STEM challenges, baking, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor adventures, construction, board games, role play and plenty of child-led free play.

Our sessions are designed to help children build confidence, make friends and learn through play in a safe, welcoming environment.

What food is provided?

We believe healthy, nutritious food helps children stay energised and ready to enjoy their time at Kids Club.

We offer a varied selection of balanced options throughout the week, with plenty of choice to suit different tastes and dietary needs.

Breakfast Club includes a choice of cereals alongside breakfast favourites such as pancakes, brioche and fruit loaf, with a variety of toppings available.

At After School Club, children can enjoy freshly prepared wraps or sandwiches with a choice of fillings, accompanied by healthy snacks including fresh fruit, raisins and yoghurt.

We also offer gluten-free and dairy-free alternatives where required.

If your child has any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, please make sure these are included within their registration details so our team can plan appropriately.

What should my child bring to Holiday Club?

Children should arrive dressed for a day of fun, adventure and active play.

Please bring:

  • A healthy, nut-free packed lunch
  • A refillable water bottle
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • A sun hat during warmer weather

During the summer months, children should arrive with a full day's sun cream already applied.

If you would like your child to reapply sun cream during the day, please provide a clearly labelled bottle and complete the appropriate consent when booking.

How do I pay?

  • Childcare Vouchers
  • Debit and Credit Cards

Once you've made your payment, email us a screenshot of your payment confirmation and we'll credit your Onside Live account as quickly as possible.

You can then use the credit on your account towards eligible bookings.

You can combine Holiday Club sessions to create the childcare day that works best for your family.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy allows us to offer flexibility where possible while ensuring we can plan staffing and resources effectively.

Regular Wraparound Care Bookings

Regular term-time bookings can be cancelled by providing four weeks' written notice.

Charges will continue during the notice period, after which future sessions will be cancelled and any applicable account adjustments made.

Ad Hoc & Single-Session Wraparound Bookings

Ad Hoc and single-session bookings are final once confirmed.

These sessions cannot be cancelled, transferred, refunded or credited if your plans change or your child does not attend the booked session.

Holiday Club Bookings

Holiday Club bookings can be cancelled or amended up to one week before the start of your booked week.

Once your booked week has started, all Holiday Club sessions are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or transferred, as staffing, activities and resources have already been arranged.

How do you keep children safe?

The safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.

Our experienced team is fully trained in safeguarding and follows robust policies and procedures to create a safe, caring and inclusive environment for every child.

Coten End Kids Club has Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and works closely with families, the school and partner agencies, taking a multi-agency approach to safeguarding to ensure children receive the right support whenever it is needed.

All staff are appropriately DBS checked, receive regular safeguarding training and are committed to providing an environment where children can learn, play and thrive with confidence.
